Outdoor Cinema - Pass the popcorn!

On a whim last night, my friend and I set up our own ‘Outdoor Cinema’ on the back deck of our house. The weather was lovely outside and it just seemed like a perfect ‘May long weekend’ thing to do. The hubster hung a white sheet on the house, we set up my laptop, computer speakers and Infocus projector on the picnic table, and then we waited until after dusk. We brought out blankets to cut the May evening chill, made margaritas, stretched out on the chaise lounges - and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The playbill? Pretty in Pink, of course!!!!!!
What a hoot! It worked so well that we’re definitely going to do it again!!! We just might inaugurate a ‘John Hughes Film Festival Summer’!!!!!! Next time we’ll invite more people! Come on over! BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair!)

Oooh, that sounds like a blast! I might just have to steal your idea….although I don’t have a projector! Maybe I’ll just have to come crash your next showing! I love old John Hughes movies!
