FINALLY learned how to flip turn!
To round out the Friday workout, we hit the pool for a lesson on the elusive flip turn. I have been frustrated by this ‘trick’ for years…. THANK YOU Peter for taking the time to make it work! Adding the flip to my repertoire isn’t yet making me more ‘efficient’ in the pool - but I’ll keep working it. In the meantime, I can at least pretend I’m one of the cool kids now! Hee hee!
Remember, breathe OUT when you somersault! Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Hey Shell!! Where are you swimming? My husband was a competitive swimmer in high school and wants to get back into swimming. He joined the 24 Hr gym @ Alderwood and was not pleased with the facility. Erinn stated that you also swim up at Martha Lake. Do they have swim training there? Or do you know of a good pool to swim at?? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
